Welcome to Bright Star's "Fall Stars" Teddy Bear Artist Online Show!
Please visit all the Heir Bears who came to this special event just to meet you! I am Jane Woodard and I have been creating real fur bears and other critters, using recycled furs, since 1999. My fur bears are heirloom quality, fully lined with a cotton fabric to stabilize and reinforce the fur. They are created to ensure you can pass them on to your children and grandchildren. You might also find a few mohair and faux fur creations which have been added to the den. I was just featured on the cover of the latest issue (#271) of Teddy Bear Times and Friends magazine, with a Q&A article in the same issue. In the past I have also been featured in articles in Teddy Bear Review (including on the cover) Teddy Bear and Friends, Teddy Bear Times, and the March 2022 issue of Teddy Bear Times and Friends magazines.  "SABRINA" "Sabrina" was created from a bright orange viscose fabric, and recycled black and orange Mongolian lamb fur for her hair. She has black suede paw pads, black glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered black and orange Perle cotton nose. She is 14" tall. "Sabrina" is 5-way jointed and firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable laminated hang tag. "Sabrina" is wearing a black felt witch's hat and carries a Happy Halloween sign for her favorite holiday.  "TABITHA"
"Tabitha"
was created from
an animal print synthetic faux fur. She has
tan suede paw pads and inner ears, black glass
eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose. Her
cat whiskers and brows are horsehair. She
is 14" tall.
"Tabitha" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable
laminated hang tag.
"Tabitha"
is wearing a bell around her neck so you always
know where she is. She also has a ball of

"LING-LING"
"Ling-Ling"
was created from
two recycled sheared beaver fur coats. She is a
creamy vanilla and navy blue mix. She has
blue suede paw pads, black glass
eyes, and a hand-embroidered blue Perle cotton nose. She is
16" tall.
"Ling-Ling" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable
laminated hang tag.
"Ling-Ling"

 "DUSTY"
"Dusty"
was created from
a recycled fur coat. He has
tan suede paw pads, black glass
eyes, and a hand-embroidered tan Perle cotton nose. He
is 18" tall.
"Dusty" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable
laminated hang tag.
"Dusty"
is wearing a green felt alpine hat and carries a
beer stein so he is ready for his Octoberfest

 "STRIPES"
"Stripes"
was created from
a unique recycled mink fur coat that was made up
of black and white stripes. The inset face
is solid white mink. She has
black suede paw pads, black glass
eyes, and a hand-embroidered black Perle cotton nose. She
is 16" tall.
"Stripes" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. She comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable
laminated hang tag.
"Stripes"
is wearing a simple white ribbon bow around her

"FRITZ"
"Fritz"
was created from
a recycled curly lamb fur jacket. He has
matching dark brown suede paw pads, black glass
eyes, and a hand-embroidered brown Perle cotton nose. He
is 14" tall.
"Fritz" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable
laminated hang tag.
"Fritz"
is wearing a multi-colored string ruff around
his neck. He brings some vintage wooden
blocks to play with so he doesn't get bored.
He says he is willing to share his blocks with
the other bears in your den. How generous

"VINCENT"
"Vincent"
was created from
a multi-colored printed mohair fabric. He has
sage-green paw pads,
amber glass eyes, and a hand-embroidered
sage-green Perle cotton nose.
He is 14" tall.
"Vincent"
has been working on a masterpiece, using his
water color paints. It looks like more of
the paint got on him than on the canvass sitting
in his easel!
"Vincent" is 5-way jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He comes with a sewn-in tag and a removable

"MAGGIE the Elephant"
"Maggie"
is
10" tall and was created from light
minty-green Schulte mohair. She is
fully jointed and
firmly stuffed with polyester
fiberfill and some pellets for added weight. She has green printed
cotton fabric for her inner ears, and black
glass eyes.
